Good, Fast Hard Drive

We are using it with our Xbox 1S. It does have some noise, though - if you are looking for an ultra quiet hard drive, this may not be the droid you're looking for.

It has worked flawlessly since I bought it; really does well for the job. It's also very compatible with virtually any system, though you may need to reformat it for a Mac.

Only choice for NAS drives at a reasonable price

I've heard there are Thai and Vietnamese drives, the former with 256MB cache and the latter with 128MB, but out of the four I ordered all of mine were made in Thailand. They absolutely scream in a NAS, and at this price, and with the reliability of WD Reds, I can afford to void the warranty.

It does get a little warm when using and does seem to make a little noise but not as loud as some stated. Fast back up for a large amount of storage, and seems to be working fine for me. Have used for 1 month so far.
