Fast Drive- used in NAS

Great value if you shuck

Decent overall performance

Drive actually spins at 7200 despite being a 5400 class drive, so if you shuck for NAS use, it will run a little hotter and suck more power

Lots of storage, great price

Great WD Red Drive But Requires Configuration

The drive is really quiet but it gets hot when under load. I would recommend putting a fan over it. Plus, you'll need to reconfigure it so that it doesn't go into sleep mode so frequently.
