The speed of use is only limitted by your computer, not the drive. I have used it to back up our computers data including photos and store it off site.

Used for Synology NAS

Once the drive arrived it was opened up and used in the NAS. Even though they were the WD White Drives they worked perfectly in the device and I saved about $120 by doing this.

Great Price for a great Hard drive!

JUST WHAT I NEEDED

Do not buy for the PS5 (five), that runs on a much more sophisticated SSD where as this is compatible with the ps4(four) HD

Be warned, this drive is a gateway to going full NAS in your home. Looking to go to 64TB by end of 2020 at this rate.

Best way To do your Own Backup

Massive storage at a great price

Fast set-up as soon as I plugged it into the network. I'm very happy with the response time on both my MacMini and Surface Pro.
