I have always had good experiences with the WD brand if products.

I’ve been short of space before and could not save important data.

I was glad to get this as a backup on sale. The size of 8TB was one of the requirements I had and they were out of the "my cloud" versions in that. Looking back now, I wish I would have waited only because I think I would have preferred to back up through my wifi instead of having to manually connect to each device with a USB. Other than that I have no complaints.

Great product it has a lot of storage and the price was good

You can't buy an in the box 8TB drive for this price so I bought this one (3rd one) and shucked it. Installed it in my desktop for additional storage. It wasn't the red drive but the white. Works great.

I bought this device as I wanted to have a high store HDD for the purposes of backing up video games that I have on hand. This device does exactly what it says on tin. Works great.

The time came when I had to finally get serious about backing up all my important files. Over the years WD had not let me down. I know it sounds like a lot of storage, but really.. by next year I will probably need another one. ;O)

It takes a bit of work to get this to backup effortlessly with Time Machine. It did the first backup and then stopped. After erasing it, it now is working as expected. Plenty of storage and a good price.

Excellent for storing large files and lots of them !! Plenty of space and a 2 year warranty. I was able to backup several smaller drives to this one quickly and easily. As with any file archive, always keep at least 2 copies.

Slow as molasses, but hey it's a spinning drive. For a backup drive or media-NAS, the price per TB and quality is the best in the range. I have 2 of these and they are reliable.

This device has a nice WD red NAS drive inside. Worth the money.

From my experience, it is an excellent product with enough saving space that can hold lots of media and documents, especially for data hoarders like me. Thanks, BestBuy for making such products available.

I have a PS4 Pro with 1TB of storage and thought I have plenty of room, boy was I wrong. An external hard drive, in my opinion, is a must, and with this 8 TB it solved all my storage problems.

These use "Red" wd drives so they're reliable. I tend to stay away from Seagate as much as I can due to the reliability issues I've seen being in the computer field. WD good,cheap, dependeable storage.

Bought this drive to reformat to EXFAT and use it on Mac and pc. Everything worked like it was supposed to. Plus it doesn’t get too hot like some large drives.

I had another WD easystore but it got old and wasn't operating properly, well I've had it for years, so naturally I was happy to find this upgraded model and so far I am happy with it.

Never had to come close to deleting any more of my downloaded or saved PS4 games or files with this external hard drive attached. It's the largest size external hard drive that it is claimed a PS4 can use.
