Bought this for my PS4 than external drive Works easily updates quickly love the fact that it has its own power pack so I don't have to strain my PS4 it's well worth the money I just wish Sony would allow us to put bigger hard drives in the units so I could have the USB port to do anything else I might need only drawback to these consoles that you have to get these gigantic drives to store your favorite games I wish the SSD drives would go down in price a lot more but for now this unit Works excellent you won't be disappointed pick it up today

This drive is easy to connect. You'll have it up and running in moments. It's used to back up files which it does in reasonable time.

I have bought 2 so far. Shuck WD red's at a fraction of the price. Will get 2 more to fill up the Ds 918+ nas. When they are on sale the price is to good to pass up

Using this as a NAS attached via my router on a USB 3.0 connection. Flawlessly steams my movies, etc to multiple clients throughout my home without any problems.

second one I have purchased to back up a server using the "ROBOCOPY" command. speed is pretty good with USB 3.0, and plent of space. It is quiet during operation.

Easy to connect to pc. No problems at all running this hard drive with Windows 10. I copied 5TB of movies to it and the copy speed was exceptional.

Great for storing those games you don't play alot, but want to be able to access them without waiting for down loads. Keep in mind it's not an ssd and is loud like the older hd that comes stock with a basic pc. For the price and what I use it for it's perfect

I bought this to replace my 1TB External for my Xbox One. I wanted a 5 Tb but Best Buy has no in-store purchase options for that, so I got the extra 3 TB. Works perfect with my One.

This device is great! I use it to store multiple mp4 movie files. I never run out of space. I really like the product.

Was looking for a single-drive storage solution. For the price, this was terrific. There may be faster options out there, but if you just need raw storage, this is a good choice.

I am currently using this drive for media storage attached to a Plex Server. This thing performs very well, and you cannot beat the amount of storage for this price! The only downside is the appearance of the device; I would have preferred something a little easier on the eyes.

I use this to backup my data, this drive works great. Pretty quiet, fast and it wont turn on until its plugged into a USB port. Highly recomend to anyone looking for an external.

So far, so good. No issues with a bad drive, no issues writing things to the drive and so much space to back up pictures and videos (esp. as 4K video are pretty gigantic).

Hard to find a better price for so much storage. I use this as supplemental storage, and copy everything back onto my hard drive for when I need to use data.

This thing works as expected. I bought it to store my massive amount of photos and videos. It serves that purpose just fine. No issues at all after 2 weeks.
