I bought this 'beast' to use on my Xbox One X. Just plug and play. Very fast, silent. If you are looking for extra space this is the one. Price also was really important.

Been a fan of WD externals for some time. This beast doesn’t disappoint. It is now my storage base of choice for music and rotating backups.

I have bought 4 of these drives over the last two and a half years and, running almost continuously, performing as promised. Enough said.

I was always running out of storage for videos before I purchased this. Love it and the price was good.

On sale for $130 each. Shucked them and put into Synology NAS. Virtually identical to WD Red drives at almost 2X the cost. Ran extensive testing. Works GREAT !!!

This was my 4th one of these drives. All work great. I bought all of them on sale, not all at once but over the last year. I use them for Plex and back-up.

This is an excellent drive. Inside are WD Reds or White Label Reds, which are top quality drives. This drive when on sale is an excellent price / performance-quality ratio.

What else is there to say? These store data. I have a bunch of these easystore drives, and they've never failed on me. *Knock on wood*

This hard drive is the fastest I have ever bought. File transfering ws a breeze. And the 8TB will meet my needs for a long time. I will buy another for backup.

There's plenty of storage to keep everything stored and backed up. It's a bit bulky to work with, and strangely this one is not as fast as couple other drives I have of the exact same type and model. The actual hard drive inside these models might vary, so it's a hit-or-miss.

it is well function usb harddisk and sata type to mainboard. it is white type of WD so you must stach tape on power connection 1-3 pin. then you use in windows.

A much-needed storage addition and WD has been a reliable purchase for many years.

My only wish I waited a couple days and would have purchased the 10TB for only $10 more. Drive works as expected, should be able to save years worth of back-ups.

Good 8TB Storage has independent power source-not usb that puts less demand on your computer. However between usages it does require a few seconds to spin up and ready.

My son plays a lot of video games online, which uses a lot of storage. This was reasonable and he is now able to keep all his games accessible for use.

I bought this for the X0X and I don't expect to ever have to buy additional hard drive space within the next 20 years. If I do I'll go buy another one of these 8 terabytes.

Very happy with the purchase. Fits more PS4 games than I could ever possibly have time to play. Works great, never had any issues.

Really like this backup drive. Simple instructions and set up. Plenty of storage space at an affordable price. BACK UP YOUR DRIVES!!! Better safe than sorry.
