I had to buy to save my data from a 3tb external hard drive that's on it's way out. Easy to set up and plenty of room for years to come.

Very user friendly. It connects to computer easily and able to back up my hard drive including moving folders into hard drive

Great backup drive. As mentioned earlier I trust WD since my 2 other seagate BU drives crashed. I would definitely recommend these for storage.

I got this drive for half the regular price. It will back up all that I have and then some. I also plan to get another one since they are so cheap.

Excellent for storing pictures and video. If the drive is less than 50% full, it can even take post production 1080 "punishment"

Great for additional storage. The cables are a little short so get a longer one if your a normal person and have you ex-drive located more than a foot from the computer

A big part of the reason I bought this drive was to backup my main drives. OOPS! The software really stinks. Ending up buying a much better commercial backup utility. On the good side, this drive is fast and very quiet. It does what I want it to do.

The external drive is working properly. Time will tell how reliable it is. It is fast and quiet. I use it for backing up files.

It has been 2month , it once had logic bad sector . But corrected by low formatting. Well working with my semi-nas modem connected through usb.

Added this onto my mybook network drove for additional space. Really great option for a hike theater NAS system.

It's not bus powered but turns off when pc is not on.. Its 8 tb and supposedly has a red drive in it. so should last longer than 2 yr warranty.

The 8tb hard drive is perfect for storing games for my ps4 I now don't have to worry about not having enough space for any new games.

This drive has been a life saver. Had a few different computers and was able to save data and move it to this drive.

I got a white label one, since I don’t plan to use it in NAS, it does not make any difference. It is quiet, not running hot, just what I like.

This drive is an awesome deal, 8tb for less than $200. Drive runs smooth and quick, it was recognized immediately by Windows. So far no complains.
