Purchased this because I could hear my old western digital 4TB start to click after many years of use but it has not outright died yet. So far so good, Speeds are what you expect for an external 54000rpm spinner.

This is great for backing up photos or files on. I take a lot of photos so far I have it half way full.

I bought two of these to use with windows storage spaces and mirrored the drives. Lots of storage for relatively low cost. Hard to beat!

shucked the case and installed in my plex server. only thing i had to do is connect with molex power to give it enough juice to run. sata power connector wouldn't do it.

Easy to use , quick set up and it responds very quickly . Anyone who buys this will be very happy with it !

Used this with my PS4 it worked very well I never had storage issues and was easy to set up

Plug n play storage. You plug the device into power and connect it to your computer via usb. Not much to it. Great value.

I'm using a large set of these as a cluster of drives for storing large amounts of media, and they're working great! Couldn't be happier.

There's very little to dislike about this hard drive. Works great, easy to use. I couldn't ask for anything else I guess.

He's a thicc boi with 8 TB to fill; gonna do a LOT of archival work with this one. I guess I should have waited for price to go down, but by then the computer and data might be out of date.

I purchased the 8tb WD Easystore External Hard drive. I hooked it up to my Macbook and reformatted it, and backed up my other much smaller drive to this hard drive. It has a nice case and includes a usb 3.0 cable. Performs as expected.

I loved this product. I stored a lot of stuffs, movies, mp3, images, docs etc. I was looking for this.

Easy to install and setup. Functions wonderfully. I reformatted to get rid of all the stuff that came with the drive.

So far I have backed up my entire digital life, photos games movies etc and still have not even touched this things storage capacity.

Using it for movie storage, works perfect. Took out of holder plopped it in the pc, no issues at all.
