Failure of a Western Digital external hardware.

And had been in the field for many years, had a lot of good luck with Western Digital hard driperiod, external and internal. No problem purchases one for anywhere. Idle box brought it back home. Hooked it up to what I was using it for and had no luck. It was awful. I'll never buy Russian digital again. You all took care of the issue and I purchased a see gate hardware.

8 GB Hard Drive for iTunes

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Western Digital brand equals the best quality in Hard Drives, Flash Drives, and Portable Hard Drives. I own several of these Portable Hard Drives and have never had a failure. Of course all mechanical units will eventually fail, these portable units are not meant to be used all of the time, unlike your internal Hard Drive in your computer. I own both USB powered and AC powered Portable Hard Drives. These are definitely worth the investment.

The important feature of these external drives are they are easy to open the casing if need be. They are also not encrypted. If my external enclosure dies I can pop this drive into a computer or enclosure and attempt to recover data without worrying about proprietary encryption.
