Be careful, but Good For Most People

Plenty of storage for the 4k videos I shoot. Up until about 2 months ago this was my go to storage option. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is I accidentally plugged the wrong power cable in one day (my monitors power cable) and it fried the hard drive. Not the case or power board, but the hard drive. Seems like the case should be setup to get fried first not the hard drive storing all my precious data.

Reliable Hard Drive

USB 3.0 speeds are good enough for my news as a backup. This is bigger than those pocket size drives but it is still portable enough that you could take it with you in a bag if you really had to. I found when standing this vertically it got too hot so now I keep it horizontal and also have it so it sits about an inch off the desk to allow plenty of airflow.
