My system was really bogged down because of all the data I had.. This obviously helped clear a lot of space up and I noticed that my system runs a lot better now too.

The only issue is that it has to be plugged into a power source which isn't a huge issue but can still be irritating if you don't have enough outlets.

After 4 or 5 data transfers, it stops recognizing the files (both stored and new transfers), and I need to restart the computer. Fine for PC, but a pain with Mac.

Please be informed that WD Easystore External drive comes preformatted in NTFS format for Windows OS, However, In order to use the drive for macOS you can reformat the drive to APFS file system compatible on Mac by using this link: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/8200/ In order to use the on both Windows and Mac you could reformat it to Exfat file format: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detailweb/a_id/20821/ Please be informed that reformatting is a data destructive process, please backup the data from the drive before reformatting it.
