Very easy to use and a life saver as my current back up drive was running out of space

This was a great buy for 8TB. Easy to use to back up your computer. If you have every lost your pictures and info on your computer, you would say this is worth the money.

I was looking for additional external hard drive just for pictures, and already having another Western Digital for work purposes, the sale pricing on this was too good to pass up!

WD external drive…Good for Time Machine backup… I recommend it

I bought this WD easystore 8TB to replace my 500GB external USB hard drive when it died. This is a huge upgrade in terms of HD capacity. I connect the WD easysotre to a docking station so whenever I plug in my 2-in-1, Windows File History would back up my working documents on an hourly basis. 8TB provides adequate capacity for my backup purposes. The black case, in an upright position, fits my working area well and does not take up a lot of space. I was lucky enough to receive the 7200 rpm HDD. My HDD is 5400 rpm. It always takes time for it to spin up for the hourly backups. The spin-up always gives me a little hiccup as I work (type, type, type) on my 2-in-1. The HDD is noisier than I prefer as it reads and writes -- but I can live with it. As a backup drive, this WD easystore serves my purposes.

It does what it says it does. Good value for what I was looking for.

I’m not the most up to date and tech savvy, but I use this to store my movies and video game roms with zero issues. Cheaper quality ones would always crash and leave my data corrupted, well I purposely cut this off mid use a few times and the thing is bulletproof (not physically and shouldn’t of had to say that.)

Lots of storage, quiet and efficient. No problems so far. I find WD products to consistently be of very good quality and goid value.

It stores much of my video archives in one place rather than having files scattered over three of four external hard drives. Good price for a quality 8TB hard drive.

Reformatted to exfat so I could use on both Mac OS and Windows. Set up was seamless. Working as expected. Took advantage of a Daily Deal and very happy with purchase.

Wait for these to go on sale. $129 is the max you should pay and you can do better if you wait. Very reliable drives and much cheaper option than equivalent bare drive.

Very good quality external hard drive for the price. Very easy to use, setup, and begin transferring and storing data. Came with some junk on it that I had to remove so that wasn't so great. Otherwise, this is a fantastic external hard drive.
