    Never tried the drive in the enclosure, bought it because it was cheaper than buying a regular internal red. I found instructions online how to remove it. I put it in my home server as a backup drive once existing data from a 3TB red was copied to it. No issues so far, and if I have to warranty it I can put it back in and send to WD for service. Great drive so far.
