Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one for my oldest son 28 years old, it's self powered, instead of USB off of device data cable. This allows it to run and transfer at top speed all the time, and brought new live to starving storage system. I GOT 2 HUGS AND 2 I LOVE YOUS IN A ROW FROM SON THAT DON'T EXPRESS LOVE!!!
