It’s easy to use but it crashed on me already within 4 days of owning this product..

Purchase all your WD easystore products at bestbuy. They have great prices and they do go on sale many times throughout the year. USB3.0 will transfer at around 150KB a second for speedy transfers.

The WD 8TB USB HD is an excellent choice when looking for more storage for your PC, PS4 and/or XBOX. I have not experienced any issues with slow speeds or connectivity. I highly recommend this product.

Good value for 8tb. Bought a couple, usually the white label. Works fine.

I use this with my mac. I had no problem reformatting it to the several partitions of different disk formats that I needed. It is fast and has worked perfectly making backups of files from both Linux and my mac.

We used this as external storage for Xbox One S and it has worked fine so far.

When these are on sale, it's the best deal you can get currently. The drive inside is excellent quality unlike a lot of other external drives. It's essentially a NAS rated drive so it should last a lot longer.

Easy setup and fast. No heat issues and the sale price was a bonus.

Keeps disappearing and not allowing access. Takes a long time before it reappears. I have multiple WD hard drives but would not buy this one again. Not sure if it is just a bad drive but just purchased it in January and am very disappointed that it is inconsistent.

Easy to use....bought this second device when first filled to capacity.

I bought a 2tb same brand, it came in exfat format. I used it to watch movies on ps4. I figured this would be the same. But it came in ntts format. My ps4 didn't read it. I had to reformat to exfat. Only complaint. My ps4 read it now after reformat.

My computer’s hard drives were just about all full. Saw this on sale and picked it up curbside. Pulled up and it was in my hands within a minute. Best Buy isn’t playing around with that curbside service.
