The Hard drive crashed out in less than 9 days after use. Now I have to take it to data salvage and it likely cost More than the drive itself. This really sucks

Inside this inclosure is a wd red 8gb helium filled drive with 256mb of cache it works great as my offline redundant backup.

I purchased the WD easystore-*TB external hard drive for my everyday backup. I love the dependability of this product.

I looked at many different external drives for my PS4, and found this is the best one for the console.

I am very happy with this purchase, it fit my needs perfectly, it is nice looking and very quick.

Over the years I have used quite a few WD external hard disks and have generally been happy. When I saw that Best Buy was selling an 8TB for just $160 I could not resist, especially when reviewers stated that a WD Red drive was in the box. However, to my dismay after installing it and connecting it to my MacBook Pro I found performance sluggish compared to my 4TB My Passport. What really compelled me to return it was when it started cutting in and out for no reason during a long copy session.

This drive is great. Really well built enclsure that just begs to be ripped apart and have the drive thrown in a NAS. Very good.

Worked as expected. Backup speed is appropriate for what I plan to use. Great price from Bestbuy compares to other online vendors.

Have not had a problem with this... it did take awhile to format but still a great product so far .

This is a great drive for backup storage of photos and videos. The only thing I didn't like is that has two lines (one is for power, the other is USB). If this needs only one line like 1T drive, it will be more convenient.

I use this to store and manage music files and it works as expected and transfers data fast and without issue.

I use the drive to backup and transfer files to/from different systems. No issues, fast transfer speeds. Works as expected.

Great except it takes a while for Xbox one be able to detect it, while Seagate was instantly.

Like everyone else, I took the drive out to use in my QNAP NAS. Couldn't have made a better choice. Love the drives!

I've purchased several WD drives over the years and always work great. However, when you set it up to work with both Mac and Windows OS you will not be able to store or create Mac backups on the drive.

Excellent Harddrive. Working great. Able to share the content over the WiFi network when connected to routers USB port.

I got this drive to use in my server. It was easy to take apart and has good read and write speeds.

No issues, I use it to expand storage on my Xbox one. Dedicated power connection ensures reliability.

It’s great. I wish the usb cable were longer. It’s a special looking connection, so I don’t know if longer options exist.

I bought this to take it apart. This comes with a WD RED NAS drive inside. Paid $160 for a dive that sells for $260 by itself.
