Needed additional storage for pictures and files - this external drive is perfect. So easy to use. Literally plug and play and drag and drop. Super simple.... I have used this on multiple PC's.

Very reliable. Works well with intensive read write tasks and on all the time. Much better than Seagate (which failed quickly) and other alternatives such as USB enclosures. Recommended!

Second one I bought, since the first was excellent. Have had no issues after a year with the first one. Great price and performance. I believe this is the best drive you can get at this price.

Works perfect for my PS4. My system was really bogged down because of all the data I had.. This obviously helped clear a lot of space up and I noticed that my system runs a lot better now too.

I use Kodi for my home video and music library and have bought 2 of these. Previously, I've owned many WD external drives. They are solid! Dependable and affordable.

for storage of files, these are good. nowhere near as fast as SSD, but from what I hear, SSD are not good for archiving files so these are the best bet for holding onto files locally.

Great drive. Huge capacity, excellent reliability, and good price. If you are handy, you can carefully shuck the drive and use it in an NAS.

These are good quality drives and in fact many people have gotten WD RED drives in them, those are NAS Ware drives that usually cost 250+. If you're lucky you might get one with a RED drive in it. This is a great deal if gotten on a sale.

Now I can download all my classic flix and not worry about running out of room. I really needed the storage space.

Fast external backup drive for several of my computers. Works well, as it should. It takes time to determine reliability, which is critical for backup storage.

Why spend money on another monthly fee for more and more cloud space when this is a one and done solution.

Very good transfer speed for an external drive with large capacity and is big enough to have everything in one place without have to carry a bunch of drives around. Has a nice outer case with lots of vent holes to help with convection Cooling.

Plug and play ready to store your stuff. WD stuff has been dependable to me, haven't had one fail yet and have been using for years, this one is a little noisy though.

It holds a lot and it works fine. I have no issues with it.

This was a great product to purchase. I've only owned it for a little over a month so far, but I intend to use it as a backup for my main back up drive that has everything on it when I upgrade my OS and have to switch from HFS+ to the new APFS. I've also edited some videos on Premiere with it so far and it's working perfectly well. Only thing so far is that sometimes it gets hung up if you put your computer to sleep with the drive mounted in Mac OS X 10.11.6 right now. I recommended this drive to everyone when I saw it on sale.

So far so good. I use this desktop storage for my media (Photo, movies etc.) This particular unit named "Easystore" is the same as Element which is more widely available.

This was purchased to save on iCloud expansion costs. It is super easy to use and portable. Highly recommend it.
