works fine. but I switched to synology nas drive shortly after.

This WD Easy store 8TB drive was clearly the best but for your storage needs. This is my 20 WD storage devices and this Easy Store Drive is by far the best.

This storage is a great value, great size and provides the extra space I need for storage. I was looking for the Seagate and when I got to the store they only had WD. The salesperson assured me this product is comparable to Seagate. I left it with my computer and two smaller drives and they copied the data. When I brought it home I was very satisfied. I always appreciate good service and value.

Easy to install, literally just plug it in. Doesn't over heat fast, if at all. High speed and you can control a lot of the settings to optimize efficiency.

Good enough, it's no speed demon but seems work just fine . You pay for lower performance and you get it. There are 8TB drives out there that cost more then two times the cost of WD's Easy Store HDD.

Amazing performance super quite efficient excellent value.Unbelievable space these things can hold so much pictures apps and games this drive will do it all blazing fast speed. Top of the line no one is better than WD i have tried them all and they are king when it comes to backing up all your stuff.So breathe easy with confidence that this drive will last and backup everything you need.

Easy to set up external drive. Fast copying and works for Plex media storage.

I have used WD drives for several years. I have purchased many of them over the last few years. This drive is a great value since the drive inside is a WD Red drive so this drive is built with reliability. WD Red has features such as NAS compatibility, increased reliability and more.

I bought this drive when Best Buy ran a special ($139) a couple weeks before Christmas. Excellent drive with the capacity to backup your entire system.
