Amazing I use this for my ps5 to store all my ps4 games on

Great hard drive, easy to use, easy to set up. We use this as a back for our backup, and at 8tb, it should last us a while.

I purchased two of these and put them in mirror raid on my iMac as Time Machine backup disks. They work great and we’re super easy to configure. Highly recommended.

It's pretty hard not to give a 5 stars. It does what is advertised. Plug it in and play. In case you had concerns, it will require the external power supply. This is a full sized HDD and USB power isn't enough. Real life usable space isn't 8TB, but it's more than enough for the average consumer. If it's on sale, pick one up, back up everything, and forget about it.

I know what I bought and I knew before I bought the HDD. But I was quite disappointed to see "USB 3.0" and find it's the old style. Besides that this is a great drive! I have it formatted as a backup/additional storage to my MAC mini and it works great! Really fast and of course has a ton of space! I finally have all my pictures, videos and music all on one drive!!

great external HD. 8TB is a lot of space. It's a good external back up to my Synology NAS. It can be a little bit loud when it's processing large amount of data.

Be sure to look online to see if it has a WD Red or White inside. The red can be installed without any problems if you are comfortable with voiding the warranty.

I have purchased 6 WD external Hard Drives over various sizes and all are still working great.
