Great hard drive, easy to use, easy to set up. We use this as a back for our backup, and at 8tb, it should last us a while.

Picked this up on Christmas Holiday Sale Priced. Not sure how you could beat the price for 8TB. Back-up software is simple and the same for the small 2TB to the 8TB..

I've bought a few of these lately and they are rock solid. It's a fast drive and so far has been very reliable.

I've been encoding my entire BD and DVD library for months. Had to upgrade storage space. Tons on this drive. Formatted as xFat so I could use with both mac and Pc.

This is an excellent hard drive, huge capacity and great speed. I have it attached to a QNAP NAS and when not in use it goes into sleep mode. Will buy another soon.

Just fit the bill. Had a 4TB drive and was running out of space. Always trusted WD for my drives.

I purchased two of these and put them in mirror raid on my iMac as Time Machine backup disks. They work great and we’re super easy to configure. Highly recommended.

Fast storage for a good price. Unless you get an SSD , this is one of the best you can get without breaking the bank

It's pretty hard not to give a 5 stars. It does what is advertised. Plug it in and play. In case you had concerns, it will require the external power supply. This is a full sized HDD and USB power isn't enough. Real life usable space isn't 8TB, but it's more than enough for the average consumer. If it's on sale, pick one up, back up everything, and forget about it.

Easy to install with iMac, works great. Used as a backup to a network drive.

Working great, and got it when it was on sale! If you need speed, grab an external ssd. This is great cheap storage.

I wanted something to backup my important pictures and files. This fit the bill with large capacity and USB 3.0 speed.

I know what I bought and I knew before I bought the HDD. But I was quite disappointed to see "USB 3.0" and find it's the old style. Besides that this is a great drive! I have it formatted as a backup/additional storage to my MAC mini and it works great! Really fast and of course has a ton of space! I finally have all my pictures, videos and music all on one drive!!

Great video file storage, was able to transfer over 4 TBs of adult entertainment to it. Quick to open and retrieve files.
