As an external, it does the job you would need it to do. Buy it when it goes on sale for 60 dollars off. Worth the money at that point.

I’m not tech savvy but I didn’t have trouble setting up. Still works great like it’s not there just open the program and transfer the data for storing.

I'm hoping that will extend the life of the product. I typically get about 3 years from these drives (I use on a mac for time machine backups).

Additionally, the cable port was very flimsy, and never stayed connected, making ongoing backups impossible without manually doing them.
