Had to reformat it to run on my Mac, but the procedure wasn’t difficult or time consuming. Ordering and pick-up-at-store was quick and easy. Think I will buy another. Can’t have too much storage space.

Thanks Best Buy you have the best gear at the even better price. This is a nice small 8tb drive looks the same size as all the other 5 tb drives...and runs cool...will get another when the price drops again!

Perfect for plug and play PS4 storage!

It's perfect in that I could plug, format, and utilize for game download storage. Apparently I heard you can shuck the product but why waste the time doing that. It runs smooth, I had heard it is loud, which I do not find to be the case. So far loving it!

HUGE STORAGE for little Price

Great price for amount of storage. I believe I've purchased about 10 of these and have yet to have one fail in the last year or so. WD has always been my go-to brand for HDD and they haven't let me down yet...

Perfect for Plex

It sits on a TV console about 10 feet away so it's inaudible for me even when the room is quiet. Doesn't seem to get hot either. When it's on sale it's a no brainer. Bare WD Reds are expensive alone at this capacity, so this is a steal at 160
