This hard drive has a HUGE capacity and is very quick with the USB 3 interface. Lots of "bang for the buck"

This is a good Storage Drive. I believe it contains 2 WD Black(4TB + 4TB). Black drives are fast and reliable. My old Seagate 4TB, full of photo collection worth 10 years has maxed out. This new WD 8TB will be another string of Hard Drive storage for all my photo's. Good Stuff!

It's a good Hard Drive value with plenty of space for my own Cloud.

Ran the diagnostics on this device and it seems to be running decently still! However, longer tests show that the drive is slightly on the noisier side. Still, a good buy for the discounted price!

Opened this up and hadn’t no issues. Transferred my movies and tv shows over and have plenty of space left!

Shuck it. Use the hard drive for your NAS Home Media server. Way cheaper than buying a Red Drive by itself.

I've always trusted Western Digital for my storage needs. I have very good personal experience; still have 10yo WD drives in working condition. Other brands I owned did not survive for more than 5 years. This particular drive has plenty of storage for my needs; it's fast and quite.

Love this 8tb drive, I've had drives go bad in the past and didnt have a backup for it so lost years of stuff, until I decided to have a backup drive, you can set this bad boy up and forget about it. If you drive ever goes bad you have this backup to transfer to any other drive you want

This is my 2nd external desktop hard drive from Western Digital and its great so far. My first one has been used for 3 years so far and it's still in good condition from what I can tell. I trust that this new drive would hold up just as well.

You really can't find 8TB hard drives for a better price. I bought three of these while they were on sale.

Used it for video, picture, and document backups. A lot of space, no issues with it. Bought it on sale too.

Right now I'm using this as an extended storage for my PS4 Pro. So far, it works as intended. While moving all of my info from one hard drive to this one, the casing did not run as hot as I thought it would. Otherwise, its a hard drive. You should know exactly what you are getting with this.

It's a very good price 149.99 for a 8tb at the moment, but it has its flaws. I use it for my Xbox one x, I also have a 5tb Seagate hooked up as well. The WD turns off when I turn my Xbox off....as it should.... but when I turn it back on it does not turn on with the Xbox. The Seagate does but the WD don't... so I have to keep it in ( on mode ) on my Xbox so it don't turn off when there's updates and so on, on my Xbox. Other than that it works good

This is a great deal when discounted as compared to just bare bones 8TB drives, especially for a NAS! If you chuck the case and pull the drive out you will need a 4-pin molex to SATA power adapter for the drive to start up properly.
