So far the hdd is fast, and provides a ton of space for the future.

This is a good Storage Drive. I believe it contains 2 WD Black(4TB + 4TB). Black drives are fast and reliable. My old Seagate 4TB, full of photo collection worth 10 years has maxed out. This new WD 8TB will be another string of Hard Drive storage for all my photo's. Good Stuff!

Used it for video, picture, and document backups. A lot of space, no issues with it. Bought it on sale too.

You really can't find 8TB hard drives for a better price. I bought three of these while they were on sale.

It's a very good price 149.99 for a 8tb at the moment, but it has its flaws. I use it for my Xbox one x, I also have a 5tb Seagate hooked up as well. The WD turns off when I turn my Xbox off....as it should.... but when I turn it back on it does not turn on with the Xbox. The Seagate does but the WD don't... so I have to keep it in ( on mode ) on my Xbox so it don't turn off when there's updates and so on, on my Xbox. Other than that it works good

Love this 8tb drive, I've had drives go bad in the past and didnt have a backup for it so lost years of stuff, until I decided to have a backup drive, you can set this bad boy up and forget about it. If you drive ever goes bad you have this backup to transfer to any other drive you want

Right now I'm using this as an extended storage for my PS4 Pro. So far, it works as intended. While moving all of my info from one hard drive to this one, the casing did not run as hot as I thought it would. Otherwise, its a hard drive. You should know exactly what you are getting with this.

I've always trusted Western Digital for my storage needs. I have very good personal experience; still have 10yo WD drives in working condition. Other brands I owned did not survive for more than 5 years. This particular drive has plenty of storage for my needs; it's fast and quite.

Perfect for my needs. I am not very computer savvy and it was not difficult to format for my MacBook Air.

I was able to purchase this on sale and it has the capacity to hold everything I need it to with plenty of room to spare. I will not worried about running out of hard drive space for a long time.

I use this to back up two of my computers. Works great.
