    These are at a great price point now and work really well. I can't speak to longevity, but the current batch of these should have RED drive in it. On sale, this is far cheaper than buying REDs if you have a NAS.

    I bought this hoping it was a cloud storage device too, but alas it is just a large external drive. Which is fine, I just feel the specs could be a little more obvious that this is not a cloud storage product. At least I can use on my LAN and it does store things quickly, quietly, and efficiently.

    This product was relatively easy to set up, and will be very beneficial in storing my music, writings, photos, etc. I prefer using this product over using the cloud. It easily stores other important written documents.

    Got these to build a storage array for my NAS. Internal drives were WD Red drives and got them much cheaper than buying the raw drives. Overall great value for ncie drives!

    Picked this up during Black Friday for a steal of $159. This is the faster data transfer one. There are two one made in Taiwan (faster) one made in China (slower). Only matters if you are transferring huge amounts of data. We transfer massive amounts of data, so the faster one was a must. Reformatted it for MAC and works great
