WD - Elements 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive, Great product. It does what I bought it for, a good storage for all my pictures and music.

I was looking for a quality and affordable external harddrive for my Wii U since it's memory is so small. This one works great but make sure you pick up a USB splitter to separate the charge and data or else it won't work on the Wii U.

This hard drive will be very handy for downloading docs and saving docs from the computer hard drive. Always use the Apple system first.

I purchased this portable hard drive to act as a carrier of files moving between my 2 laptops. With the 3.0 usb trasfer rate, moving files as storage and moving between my computers is exactly what I needed and everything I expected

Worked seamlessly with my iMac once reformatted. Did have to try a couple different ways of reformatting, but it's a workhorse now.

Purchased on sale. Received in a timely manner. Setup was easy and backup process with windows 10 was straightforward.

This runs great with my ps4. The set up was easy and I have had no problems with playing games that are saved on it.

I bought this for the computer for backups. There is no software with it to set up backups on your computer and the computer didn't recognize it. I tried to download software on the WD site but it required an authorization code which didn't come with it. My Toshiba portable hard drive for the other computer worked flawlessly. As it stands right now the WD Elements is a paperweight.

I needed a small portable hard drive to hold my photos and music. This is the perfect solution plus it is USB 3.

Between work and home this HD is a perfect size to throw in my backpack. Secure and easy to setup. Great value.

I use it for my MacBook Pro Time Machine backups. It gets the job done. I leave it on as much as I can so it’s updated to as recent as possible.

If you're a fan of the Ultra and don't need the extra programs it comes with, the WD Elements external is great. Very durable and it's nice to have data backed up on multiple drives!
