    Bought this drive to replace an older IDE parallel cable drive in a computer that had a new type SATA connection. Computer power supply had to be replaced because the old supply didn't have the proper connection. After getting everything installed I found out the new drive didn't have a SATA cable with it and had to make a trip back to the store and spend another $10.00 for a cable. Another "I wish I had never started this repair. mattgg

    W D is my brand of choice. I have not had one fail in the last 10 years. I stay away from the green ones, because those operate slower.
