My husband purchased this hard drive after his former one crashed. Upon his research he decided to go with this one from Western Digital. He also liked the fact that it is a larger capacity than his former one. I have not heard him complain one time about this item.

Western Digital drives are all i trust in my computers and for my backups. I have had problems with almost every brand of hard drive in the past but the WD drives i have had the best luck with. No issues thus far and i don't expect any with this drive.

good product works well easy to set up good storage

Purchased as a upgrade to our existing tera drive as we needed more storage. This unit has triple the storage and also was able to use the power cord to power the tera drive after we misplaced the original. Having no issues with the new 3T drive.

Nice look, slim, quiet. Easy hook up and a lot of space

This backup is Fast and reliable. The only thing that prevents a 5 star is that the software is a bit awkward. It should permit a manual prompt to backup right Now, instead you must schedule all backups. Not a major concern, since you can set a time 2 minutes later, but then you have to reset your scheduled backups.

Bought his to run on my son's Xbox One, the system formatted the drive and it has been getting used heavily on a daily basis since. It has been running without a hitch for months.

I got this mostly because I am a photographer, and I have many pics on my computer. I wanted them saved automatically so that if anything happens to my computer, they are saved on this external device. I have yet to try to retrieve anything from it, but it shows that it has all my important stuff saved on it.

Seems to work fine with my Xbox One. Have notice that new installs and updates keep failing now that everything is set to install on this drive, but my assumption is that the Xbox is turning the drive off when shut down and causing the install/download to fail. Haven't had a chance to troubleshoot further.

After previewing other products with similar features, I bought this product for brand, size, price,ease of use and installation . The price per Gig could not be beat, especially for a brand name known for a quality product. It comes with automatic backup software which is a plus. Its' small footprint makes it a great addition to my desk as a laptop accessory. Operationally I find no drawbacks whatsoever. In a wishlist, I would ask for an on/off switch and a selection of case colors. Great product and I would easily recommend it to others.

I purchased this device for my mother to store family photos and videos. It's easy to use and fast to transfer files over from your computer/labtop to this device. The price was great for the amount of storage space you get.

The best thing I can say about and external hard drive is that I don't notice it. This hard drive is completely unnoticed, yet when I need it, it is always there to work. I have several WD drives and they all work well.

Never had a problem with any WD drive I've owned and so far so good with this one. I have had it about month now, running fine. I got a great price on this external drive but only needed the hard drive itself. Love it!

So I bought one for my friend because my 6 TB impressed him with the fact that it runs at 7200 RPM and is more reliable than Seagate. Now that they introduced an 8 terabyte, I'm going to have to go buy it to add more storage for the Xbox one. In case people need to know the Xbox one can except up to 2 separate 8 terabyte external hard drives connected to two USB slots. A total of 16 TB.

I needed an external hard drive to install a mirror image, and really did not know what I would need. The salesman was very knowledgeable and steered me to the 3TB My Book. I am very satisfied with this product.

I bought this external hard drive in rush because I need to transfer a large amount of file from 2 dying computers. I was not disappointed. This product is great. It was plug and play. Easy to set up and use.

With my laptop and xbox one starting to get full on memory, this was a great product to have and with plenty of space, theres almost no way i can fill it up now!

My Book 3TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive it is large enough to put a lot of vac pictures and then some only had it about three mounths but working great just make sure you have a usb3 so pic transfer over faster

We are happy with the drive and it is easy to use. However, to make it work, I had to remove the automatically installed software and download proper software from the website for the drive to function. A website customer service representative claimed this was a common problem.

Plugged the hard drive into my xbox one and transferred all my games and apps to it and now I have plenty of room for more games. Process was easy and the drive fits in with the black color of the Xbox.
