Incredibly easy to set up. Download Seagate apps and you will be viewing/listening all the files you have copied to it. Easy to reach with just your email address.

WD myCloud is a great network hard drive, now in 4TB capacity. I've been buying the product line for years now, and they've yet to fail! Good buy!

The set up was easy and there is a lot of information available on the Internet to explore more options with the my cloud.

The device looks stylish, is quiet, has a small footprint and it performs adequately with acceptable speed when executing a backup. The backup software allows backing up individual folders or files and provides access to the backed up files in their original form. Would have liked to have specific instructions accompanying the product with direct links to the software required to operate the device and to the backup software. An on/off button or the ability to turn off and then, later, back on the device via software would be welcome. Although it can be rebooted and can be shut off through the software, in the current version, the device can not be turned back on after turning it off. One has to unplug it and then plug it in again in order to restart it.

Very easy to set up and use. It's a great way to share all the photos and music files between all the family members without having to burn a bunch of CDs and DVDs.

This product is great. Since it is hooked to your personal wifi network you can access it anytime and anywhere. The bonus is, you don't have monthly or yearly fees to have that access. It is all your for free with the purchase. It is easy to install, easy to change and add things. Great product. Only down side is it take awhile to loud large file folders, but you would expect that with any external device.

I love having my own personal cloud. It feels more secure than Good Drive or Dropbox where you have no idea who has access to your stuff.

I am now in control of my own 4T cloud and it really does what I had hoped it would, I am on satellite and am very satisfied, all my tech can reach my files

I consider myself to be more of an advanced PC / network sort of person and I struggled to get this set up and working correctly. It has a few quirks. I have small children and had parental controls on my router this caused some very odd issues. I could access the router from mycloud but it would not update the firmware with the parental controls enabled. I also struggled to map a network share to one user. Eventually I toggle the settings off and then back on it that corrected that problem. The final issues happened when I unplugged my router. The light on the front of the unit was flashing yellow which indicates there was no network connection, but I could actually access it on the network. Had to reboot the unit to clear the light. Overall once you get past setting it up it is very fast on my network and I use it to stream to just about everything in the house. It has no problem playing HD video from a GoPro on our TV across the network. I just wish the software side of it wasn't so "buggy".

Loved how simple it was to use, but was hoping for more configuration options to make the backups one way traffic and not only syncs. Overall, great!

Great Product for personal cloud. set up in minutes and its very easy. i have so far no complains about the product and have worry to go over my storage.
