The WD MyCloud is easy to set up and use. It's a useful storage solution for my whole household.

I've had the cloud for a few weeks and so far I love it. It does everything I needed it to do.

Easy setup. WD website and documentation a little dated, but was still able to configure without calling tech support. Only giving a 4-star because of documentation. Maybe the 6TB has updated docs. Very small footprint, but great storage capability!

I like that I can access it from anywhere. I wish it would automatically save things once I turn on my computer, instead of having to do it manually. I like that I can easily expand my cloud storage capability easily if I want. Transferring photos takes way to long.

I believe WD makes good products overall, and I own other external drives they sell...however this product was a nightmare from day one, and I returned it. First off...the software was very buggy and it required several attempts to install it. I then had issues with my network recognizing it. Spent a lot of time on the phone with Technical Support, which overall was good, as you get people on the phone fairly quickly and they were helpful. Once it got up and running it was unreliable and the drive kept freezing up, with various error messages. My reason for getting this was to be able to access needed files while on the road away from my home office, and I could not live with the unreliability of this product. Would rather spend a few dollars every year and use Dropbox, or one of the other cloud services.

I recently had to replace my WD My Drive due to the led light turning red. I had this external drive for 6 or more years. I purchased a WD My Cloud 4TB External Hard Drive and to date I am happy with how it is operating and I would recommend the WD products.

Purchased this product to setup my own personal cloud and it works perfect.

Physical set up was simple. Setting up software to back up my Imac, PC and Ipads was difficult and I still don't have it correct. It's not backing up automatically. Still working on it!

This MyCloud is easy to set up and use from anywhere in the world. WD is one of the most well known brands in the world, and they are for a reason. Any other cloud you will buy will most likely have WD drives inside. The MAC/ Windows versatility is great.
