I appreciate how I can be on the go and not necessarily have my equipment with me but I have access to pull up any file I have saved to my cloud. It's amazingly accommodating.

This deserves absolutely no stars, and may God have mercy in this drive's technical soul. This drive is a hot mess of the highest order. I barely managed to get the support software updated on the drive before it was hacked. That is not even mentioning the actual drive updates, which were not available, at all, because the site for drive support was taken down for a month of maintenance the DAY I brought this drive home from Best Buy 8/27/15-site announcement stated would be down until 9/27/15; haven't bothered checking if it's back up). Best Buy won't dare take it back since I opened it, or something, it's a hard drive, they won't take them back. Just so you know. Complete waste of my money.

I ordered this for Christmas and it was so easy to set up and use, the only issue I sm having is not being able to view iTunes movies I have transferred to it, but that may be due to operator error.

It's like having your own server and accessing it from anywhere.

I have had this HD for serveral months and it works great and very easy to setup.

Use of the device was simple enough. Did run into a hiccup during setup, which could not be recovered. A manual process was required, but the drive is working. Not having to link the device to the cloud is great. Used only for internal storage.

Tech Support Help was required from WD -- for me to understand their instructions. They were very helpful; best tech support I've ever experienced. Very Happy with the product.

Very easy to install. Now I have acces to all my filles from any internet device.

I bought this cloud to replace wired external hard drives. My dogs were playing and ran into the cords while I was editing a photo and down came my 2TB hard drive. Now I can tuck this off in a corner in a room they do not enter and I have no worries and can still edit from Lightroom with the files saved to the hard drive. Will buy more in the future when I'm close to running out of space.

This product is a very good buy . The price is right, its easy to use quiet and has 4 TB storage.

This has proven to be a great backup solution. I have synched it with another external HD that stores 1TB of personal stuff. This took about 2 days total to sync up 100% (during working hours). They have a app that you can download onto phone to access your files remotely - works smoothly. So far...this has been great!

Great device just a little slow loading up files but still a feast device

Easy to Install and can store all videos and photos and access from media player.

Took it out of the box, plugged in to the AC outlet and ethernet port and fired up my web browser. Followed the instructions and downloaded Windows software from WD's site. You use a web browser to set up accounts. I just went straight to the web browser for my Linux machine, I didn't need to install anything special. I back up my Linux and Win7 desktops and my Win8 laptop and my wife backs up her win7 laptop. NICE!!

WD MyCloud 4TB is a great device for the price. Price was my primary factor for purchasing.
