WD - My Cloud 4TB Personal Cloud Storage External Hard Drive (NAS) - White is one the best in today market, It work very good, I can transfer my pic or any file from my phone or pc or mac . with 4 TB I will be sat for a long time.

For what it is it's great. I just needed something to free up my laptop stat. This isn't plug and play. It should state on the box that it's can't be connected to the computer like a normal external for lazy people like me that don't read manuals. I might get this again when I have time to go thru the hassle of setting it up for the wireless features. I bought and returned two of these before realizing that it only works connected to the modem not your computer.

I bought this product to save the ton of phone pictures and allow for space on my wife's phone. The setup was super easy and I'm looking forward to learning more functionality for other important documents.

It was easy to install and performed as expected. I have not experienced any problems with the unit.

Out of all the other ones I have tried, this is the best!

The device is awesome. Spent extra cash & got 4 TB. Well worth it. I added an additional 2 Tb USB 3 and it is now 6 TBs and is awesome. This thing rocks and then software is excellent. One last thing that I am trying to figure out is getting status when my son uploads through the Internet. I also use a media box and DLNA and stream directly form this device. It rocks. The only issue I have had recently has nothing to do with this device but concerns me that Tine Warner may throttle my internet connection when the device is being used through the Internet sometimes. I have no proof that TW is throttling me, but it seems coincidental.

Needed a backup device for multiple computers, and wanted some to work virtually regardless of physical location - which strongly suggested a cloud solution. This seems to be a good fit, so we'll see over time if that proves right.

First got this product set it up in about an hour first thing when plugged in and hour worth of 5 different updates then after took 30 min to download the program to control it after all was done three days of use it stopped working called the support they said it was a bug in system two weeks later it was fixed

Very easy to install and use. Currently transferring our DVD collection over to it so I can stream movies anywhere in the house and while i'm on the road. Not to mention it works great for automatic back ups for our computer :)

I am not using the Internet cloud features currently. I only use the device as a network NAS but it has performed exactly as advertised. I have had no issues with the device. The control panel is easy to use.

My brother-in-law bought one of these for his home network and liked it so much that I decided to get one for mine. Installation and configuration was pretty easy, though the initial backup of both laptops took 2 days to complete since they are wireless and the drive is connected directly to the router. So far it's work like a charm, but I know I haven't optimized its use yet.

I had my doubts as to how well this hard drive would work, as my previous hard drive was difficult to setup, and stopped working two weeks after I purchased it. I am pleased with this particular hard drive.

After realizing that Dropbox was clogging my uplink syncing several devices, a local option for consolidation and backup was needed. Setup on the ad was painless and fast. So far - no issues at all.

I have been using two cloud services, but wanted to have my own where I can upload any type of file. It took me about an hour to learn to setup correctly, but once it was setup it been great to use.

I really like the way it works, but getting it set up is confusing. It is also not clear whether it needs to be explicitly started on each computer when the computer is turned on. It would seem not, but it's hard to tell. It's particularly hard since the back-up structure is not "transparent" like looking at Windows Explorer would be. The fact that it allows me to set up directories where I CAN explicitly store files is nice. The USB port for another drive is great.

An excellent choice to my network and highly recommended to anyone that needs a personal storage and back up. This is a must have.

This does everything I wanted it to do. Excellent product.
