I highly recommend this item. Purchased for self but has lots of space for the family.

Other then having to connect it the router which is how All NAS HD's work. It's Simplistic and has An App that you can Use to upload your Photo's and Videos. Simple straight forward.

Upgrading my wifi router at the office I can't use the Apple Router anymore. So using this device for Time Machine backups. After a bit of work to get it connected to the wifi router, it is being seen by all the iMac's on our network and I am able to get them to back up with time machine properly. Not something that works out of the box like an apple product, but it is doing what I need it to do.

This was a birthday gift for my son, who is a freshman in college. It was such a great product, his younger brother begged for one also. He got the 2 terabyte version and he is extremely happy with his too.

I have heard many different ratings about it dropping off Internet, hard to setup. It was so worth the money and I'm able to get whatever I want wherever I want. I would recommend this to anyone

Bought this for backup use. Started out ok, but when attempting to use/sign in it never works. Only had the unit about 3 months and now it appears to not be working. Can't take it back as I'm past the 45 days now. Would highly caution anyone who is thinking of purchasing this.

Works great. Plugged it in, my PC found it immediatley, configured it and up and running in 10 minutes. Backed up all of my picttures, videos and important docs first thing.

Western Digitals my cloud is a very simple way to back up, access and free up storage on your computer. I highly recommend it as a way to easily access your media wirelessly.

The convenience of backing up my phone without having to put files on my computer first and then onto the drive is worth it. The price wasnt bad . But it is disorganized when accessing files. When my iPhone uploads images onto the drive they are placed out of order and it's sometimes hard to navigate through the photos. Without a computer you can't organize photos into folders easily.

I never felt like my files and information were safe in the hands of some company cloud. Who has access??? With this only I have the password and can view my files from anywhere.

I have a 2tb computer ran out of memory (kids pictures and videos) now 1.5tb free space with 3tb left on my cloud best purchase I made instead of paying monthly cloud service.

Good bang for the buck. It's nice being able to stream straight onto my tv
