Good value, atrocious setup.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The problem is the utter lack of instructions on how to transfer files onto it or how to set up a backup plan. Through independent research I figured out that you have to map it as a network drive in order to move files onto it via copy/paste and that you have to download and install backup software on your PC in order to get that going.

I love my Mycloud storage

Backup Drive

It works well with the time machine app. I'm not sure if the 4TB is enough for hundreds of thousands of pictures, but if needed, I can buy more! The drive is silent and so far reliable. Given, it's only been a few month. Only complaint would be cost, but it is what it is
