Thought it would be easier to setup and use

Great Product

The only gripe I have is with the auto backup feature in the iOS My Cloud app. Apparently the Auto Lock feature on your iPhone/iPad/iPod has to be disabled in order for auto backup to run uninterrupted. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

My son said I needed it and installed it and set everything up and I just use my computer. Since it hasn't crashed my computer and since I can save things to it and get things from it, I have to assume it is working just fine. I was forced to give it a star rating but I am simply not able to give a review so, not wanting to hurt the company, I gave it 5 stars.

Good idea but

It took three resets before I finally got it to work It's is slow reading and writing to drive even on small network running on a gigabyte switch and the drive frequently drops connection to the network.

This is my own Cloud backup

We have one 2012 Macbook Pro, one 2013 Macbook Air, and two Windows Laptop. Other than it’s slow to connect WD cloud backing up is working as it should.
