Easy to install. It isn't naturally intuitive on how to use it. Someone like me must read the manual to effectively use it.

Setup instructions were good and able to have it online within 5 minutes. Options in the interface made it easy to setup folders with permissions for different users. Would recommend setting up a static IP address to make web access easier.

Take time to really learn unit before dumping files to it. Make sure you understand it. How to use with your computer. Only 30 days phone help

I bought this to replace a unit from another manufacture. I purchased it because I have always had good luck with WD gear.

I like it but when I try to watch a video on location it loads slow but once it loads plays great

Great product. I would give it 5 stars except it is not exactly plug and play. As long as you have medium tech skills it will be 5 stars.

I use this to download my movies on to! Some work some do not, but i prefer this cloud instead of the who knows where cloud

I'm the person who collected well over 1000 cds and was left wondering how I could store them in anyplace other than shelves and boxes. It took a long time to do so but they're now easily accessible whenever I need it on this drive.

This is my second personal cloud HD and I love it so far. I have had it only 3 months but I have had zero issues and it has connected to all of my other devices with no issue. I got it on sale but even at regular price I would recommend it

Great Network Area Storage (NAS) device. Fast setup and has gigabyte transfer speeds. Ideal for small business backup and data storage. Unit has sleep mode to ensure long life. Great price too.

They should rename it for what it is, A Network Drive not a cloud Drive. After 20 days drive crashed and 6 years of data lost, because upon purchase I assumed that data was stored in a cloud, which it wasn't. Drive itself is too sensitive to moving from one room to another. Quickly returned for a more durable external drive such as the one offered by SeaGate. For business maybe, but for personal use, never.

Works great, use varies based on operating system even version of windows 10. Probably more of a Windows issue

Love having a personal cloud at my house. No relying on some third party somewhere for my important documents. Love being able to access this device from my phone with an app, as well as streaming media from it to my WDTV Live and my Chromecast.

Easy to set up User friendly A little slow to copy to device. Overall good storage and backup unit for home use.

This is the third WD My cloud I've purchased because they are great. I like that I can have them hidden away and still be able to access files from around the house or a different state. They easy to use and set-up.

I would highly recommend this. Better to purchase My Cloud once and avoid monthly charges with other companies.

We use this drive to back up the data from our PC drive, so we can access the data from another PC if necessary. It is set up to copy the info automatically when changes or new files are saved.

Had a little trouble setting it up at first, but got it all working just fine. Backing up MAC and PC devices to it.

Perfect solution for any storage need. Comes in handy for movies and pictures, they are both accessible via DLNA and can be accessed by your smart TV. Love this product.

The instructions for using are not clear and concise on the web or anywhere.
