I bought this to back up my photos and other stuff. It works great.

Was looking for a way to back up all of our devices to one source in the most secure way. Still not convinced typical cloud services are as safe as they claim.

The product worked well with my MAC timemaching wireles backup.

My only complaint is that it doesn't auto back up new media I put on my devices.

This is a good product. A bit tricky to figure out your pictures.

Great for backing up data from laptop. Data can be sent from laptop via wifi and does not have to directly be connected to save files into My Cloud Hard Drive

Recently had my phone stolen but everything was backed up with this.

I purchased this hoping for a wireless and USB option but it wasn't there.. still seems like a good product if wireless connection is your only concern.

Really easy to follow directions and set up. Backed up computer and phones. Easy to transfer data between devices. Great price for the amount of storage.

This seems to solve my issue of consolidating old media from four different hard drives while allowing the sharing of information with out of state family. So far , so good.

I love WD. I had a Passport 1TB which works great. Now, with the My Cloud, it is even better. Great experience backing up things on fly instanteneously.

The MyCloud was pretty good when I first purchased it, but after a year it started slowing down. Connection times are so bad now that my Mac can't event connect TimeMachine for backup. This seems to be a well know problem with these devices. It is very disappointing. I liked the idea of connecting from anywhere from almost any device (Mac, Windows...), it was a great selling point. I recommended these to a number of folks, but now I'm about to get rid of it. Everyone I talked into buying one of these is seeing the same problem(s). WD disks are good, but their software leaves a lot to be desired.

trying to figure out how to stream the videos to my android not working yet

Salesman told me things that were not true about this device's capabilities and services offered by WD, but it serves my primary purpose of sharing files among our devices and backing them up. Disappointed in the streaming and non availability to Apple TV. iTunes media server works but is kind of clunky

The best yet of a WD NAS device. The capacity is finally getting to about where it needs to be, but twice the size would be better if you take a lot of photos or videos.

Hard to setup. Not intuitve at all and the directions are not clear.

Like having wireless access. Not the easiest to figure out

I like the WD my cloud. It works good for the situation that I have. Both myself and my wife can save out pictures to it.

Work like it's suppose to, fast and worryfree. Great stuff
