Not to mention I would like to keep my personal pictures safe in storage as well. Its ridiculous that Best Buy even sells a product as insecure as this one. It's hard to set up, it's hard to use, and it fails. What more can I say? They will let me return my broken hard drive for a new one, which I'm sure will break. It was an expensive mistake to make. Do not purchase.

Not user friendly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work as IT and I'm used to things beings easy to configure but unfortunately that has not been the case with this drive. There's no literature that came with it only a website and then I would need to google how to get this thing to work. I was finally able to figure out the programs needed to do a backup of my files but at the end just decided that it was not worth putting more effort into it and I'm just gonna return it.

They also confirm it cannot be used for a Windows backup and a windows restore using windows to address as a network dtive. I AM RETURNING IT TO STORE TODAY.

Warranty ran out and now stuck with a paperweight.

Terrible Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Set up was very difficult, when finally set up, the file transfer rate from PC to the drive was unacceptably slow, 1-2mbps, over a day to transfer 1gb of data. I will be returning this after less than a day of use.
