Easy setup -good performance - definitely an upgrade from my cloud

Dependable storage drive used for photos and videos.

I needed the external network attached storage for my line of work and it is doing the job well done!

Works as described, set up was very easy, i like the way it backs up

We bought this to be a backup in our small office. From other reviews, I thought this would be easy enough to setup myself....I was wrong. We had to hire the Geek Squad to come out and really get this backup to work properly. There seems to be a few quarks in where it is saving the backups, but we seem to be correcting those with a little bit of effort. Overall its a great backup and worth the money.

Works wonderfully - it was easy to setup and just what I needed to replace my older NAS.

Seems fine so far. Reviews are good and setup easy.

I recommend this to anyone who is looking for mass storage on your home network. Works as advertised, you can't go wrong with this.

Should have done this long ago. Easy to setup, good features. Excellent hard drives.

I am using the item to back up family photos and it is working well thus far. The transfer speed is a bit slower than I expected but am not sure if this is due to my wireless network or the storage device. Although cloud access is not important to me, one drawback I noticed is that you can’t copy folder structures via the cloud interface. You can only drag and drop folder structures when accessing the device from your home network.

Very nice and work well. It’s worth the money, I would recommend it for anyone.

Lots of storage room, and setup was not too hard hope it lasts as long as my old one

I've owned this for several years and use it for regular file based replication backups over the network. The configuration is largely set and forget it, I've never had the public share that the NAS sits on my network drop for any reason, and to date, I've experienced no data loss. A solid entry level NAS.

This is a great NAS and easy to set up, super awesome.

Upon opening the brand new product, I could not get the item to work, took it back to the geek bench. They confirmed that 100% of the drives were dead and not functional. I ended up having to return the product. BestBuy never got any similar products or replacement product so i ended up having to buy something else online and cancelled my subscription.

Bought this as a second unit to setup remote backups for my first EX2 ultra. Works like a charm using the built in utilities, this gives me redundancy for all my data on a second EX2.

Easy to set up, very fast and responsive. Works great for streaming my FLAC and DSD music files over my home network.

I love these drives. They work great and having the constant back-up gives me peace of mind. They are easy to set-up and easy to access internally and externally.

I upgraded my old WD My Cloud which I purchased a few years ago and "only" had 2 TB of storage. After years of storing pictures, files, backups from various computers around the house and scans for work I decided to get more space as well as protection as I realized after a power failure that if my drive failed I basically had no backup. This device has a 2 drives with one for data and the other as a backup. Problem solved! In addition WD My Cloud has an app for our iPhones, iPads and Android phones that automatically backups photos when we are on home WiFi and I can access files through a web interface when away from home. It does require a gigabit home network as 10/100 speeds are slow.
