This saved my butt when my Seagate NAS lost a drive and I needed a good storage unit to backup my music (36k songs) so that I could, safely, replace the bad drive. It's now being used as a redundant drive. It was easy to set up and, so far, works perfectly. I have another WD Cloud storage that has been working flawlessly for several years now.

I have the old and new version of this. Preferred the older one, is just easier to use. If I hadn't owned the old one I'd recommend this one.

The myCloud is super easy to setup and use and works great between all my devices.

Easy to set up and seems straight forward using the phone and windows apps. Havent used all its features yet but happy with the purchase.

Our time capsule finally gave up the ghost and after some trial and error with other options, we settled on the My Cloud Home 4TB. Setup was easy, and seamless and the handshake with TimeMachine was perfect.

This was easy to set up and get going. It syncs with my phone when i get home and it just works well. I wish the app had more feature or a more clear way to merge all accounts but other than that good product.

This device solves so many backup, synch and storage access issues! Finally a NAS that is easy to use, affordable to buy; and, uses the latest technology packaged in a very good looking device. Dual drives on a RAID ensures local redundancy. Accessibility of files from any Internet-connected device with secure log-in. A great personal cloud enabled NAS. I certainly recommend this device.

I was looking for a time machine compatible hard drive and first tried Seagate! According to their website it was compatible with the proper setup. I followed their setup to the letter and when time capsule went to set it up, the whole hard drive froze up. Took it back and got this. Everything installed very smoothly. Backs up happen automatically now like they should for 3 computers..

Im very pleased with this my cloud home. seams to work with no flaws I havent tested everything like activating the plex server on it but for my needs for what i was looking for it has and does everything i need it to do Setup was very easy and the mobile apps seam to work without any flaws I rate it 5 stars for an awesome job they have done with this

Love this. I used it to set up a Plex account and it was ready to go right out of the box. As far as setting up your own server goes, western digital really makes it simple. Mine came with a free 3 month Plex trial as well! I have this Ethernet plugged into my Eero mesh network (non pro version) with the cable it came with and everything has been working great.

Quick and easy setup. Allows me to access files even when off network.

The product is worth spending and easy setup and now my photos are downloaded and have enough free space in my mobile and other online apps

This was super easy to install and is fantastic. I can backup my phone from anywhere and other devices, such as my computer. It's a great way to keep the amount of information stored on my actual devices to a minimum, which is helpful with a digital design business. I loved it so much that I also got one for my mom who does embroidery work for all her files.

My mother in law bought this product to house family pictures and files. The setup was very simple to do and it is very straight forward to share files with family and friends. The feature to setup as a cloud drive that can be accessed from anywhere in the world via the app or desktop platform is a stress free option. I do not have a reference point to prior versions of the WD My Cloud or My Cloud Home.

The My cloud is very easy to setup and I was able to use it in minutes after plugging it.
