this really helps my family share important things with each other, without the added clunkiness of unplugging/plugging in an external drive from our 3 separate computers

Love this unit. It was easy to setup and keeps my computer synced and backed up at all times. I especially like the fact it can be used instead of Apple’s cloud to keep pictures and videos backed up. You are also able to invite anyone to use it as backup as well. I was able to not only set my wife up, but my in laws as well. The quality and ease of use are exactly what I expected from Western Digital.

Apple got out of the router/hard drive business. When mine failed they said they could not recover my terabytes of data saved wirelessly on their device. That there was no wireless solution, “HEY, sign up for our never ending cloud solution.” Well, a quick trip to Best Buy got me this super wireless “Personal cloud” hard drive. Mated with a fantastic netgear router and I am better than ever. Knowledgable sales force, straight story, fair price.

Lots of space and easy to set up. Accessible from home and abroad. Very satisfied.

There are some folks that mention something about compatibility with windows 10. There are various tutorials out there that show you how to easily create a network to save from your pc to the my cloud. I did it in 3 minutes and loving how I can drag and drop my files to the cloud. The app is easy to use and really like the share option. My wife and I can easily upload and download all our videos. So far, I really like my purchase.

Hate that it's more cloud based than physical but setup was easy and it looks good. Very fast and works well but like most cloud stuff if you delete it from you comp, its gone...

This saved my butt when my Seagate NAS lost a drive and I needed a good storage unit to backup my music (36k songs) so that I could, safely, replace the bad drive. It's now being used as a redundant drive. It was easy to set up and, so far, works perfectly. I have another WD Cloud storage that has been working flawlessly for several years now.

So far added family member to the drive so we have one location the whole family can access photos anywhere anytime.

The myCloud is super easy to setup and use and works great between all my devices.

I have the old and new version of this. Preferred the older one, is just easier to use. If I hadn't owned the old one I'd recommend this one.

Easy to set up and seems straight forward using the phone and windows apps. Havent used all its features yet but happy with the purchase.

This device solves so many backup, synch and storage access issues! Finally a NAS that is easy to use, affordable to buy; and, uses the latest technology packaged in a very good looking device. Dual drives on a RAID ensures local redundancy. Accessibility of files from any Internet-connected device with secure log-in. A great personal cloud enabled NAS. I certainly recommend this device.

Im very pleased with this my cloud home. seams to work with no flaws I havent tested everything like activating the plex server on it but for my needs for what i was looking for it has and does everything i need it to do Setup was very easy and the mobile apps seam to work without any flaws I rate it 5 stars for an awesome job they have done with this

Really easy to install and easy to use. I connected mine to the router per the instructions and within a few minutes I was able to drag all my large files over, or run a backup. It does sometimes run slow with too many files but that's a wifi issue and not a problem with this product.
