I am satisfied with the purchase. This is my introduction to personal cloud storage. I am using it to back up my computers. The only issue is when I set up it would not accept my password, and the 2nd level still does not, which is a little confusing.

Good external hard drive value. Reliable storage with 4TB. Western Digital (WD) drives have not failed me yet. Have several going back many years.

This NAS performs very well. Extremely easy to set up and move files onto.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. It works great. She loves it and has been able to store everything she had on it and still has tons of space left. It's a great product. I would recommend to anyone.

I love this hard drive. I’m able to look up and see any pictures I have stored from anywhere. I made different folders for my pictures which made it easy to locate what picture I wanted and see it from anywhere on my phone.

I use this for my office and everyone can connect to it to save files and open saved files. I also created an account to save my personal stuff and only I can access it. Works awesome.

I was a long time Mozy customer. When they were bought by Carbonite and jacked up the prices up so high, I knew I had to make a change. The My Cloud unit was is easy to install and configure and has provided excellent access to files.

Use this to backup photos on my iphone and ipad. Google is removing their unlimited photo backup next year. I know they lower the res to 1080 but still. use this to backup your photos and forget about it.

I wasn’t sure if the device would be enough to handle my collection of photos, music and movies. I am impressed at how well it’s working out. I would recommend this product to levels of users from advanced to beginners.

I buy one of these for each job I work on. They've all been dependable but this time the new software and interface is really annoying. Constant dropdown menu is aggravating.

I needed a device to house files to be on-line on my home network even when my laptop was not. This was easy to set up and access from other local devices as well as remotely. SCORE!

The only thing I find that doesn't work well is the Western Digital mobile app. I can access what is on my device while away from home quite easily on my laptop but on the cell phone or tablet there is no direct download button I can find as of yet. I have to get files in a round about way if I need them.

This is literal plug and play. No fancy networking or anything. Just download the app on your phone, sign in with the account and everything is shared.

Excellent. Great for storing and sharing all files, pictures and music between multiple laptops in the same household, keeping the hard drive on the laptops frees up so they can run more efficiently.

Easy to set up. Not the fastest transfer rates but that is expected. Using to back up the family’s iPhones, a few computers and family pics & videos. Everyone in the family was able to figure out how to set up and use the drive with their phones.

So far no problems , it was a breeze to set up even for not very tech savvy persons. Just remember to get a long enough cable if you don’t intend on placing it close to the router.

This is the best personal cloud drive, where you can back up your information and access it over internet. It’s easy to use and works as a personal network drive on PC and MacBook

I found that the WD Home Cloud was easy to set up an allowed me to securely add friends and relatives. Even though it did allow sharing in one folder, it provided secure storage for others in there own folder. Very basic system easy to use.
