Easy setup and works exactly as advertised. Very happy with this purchase!

Super simple to set up and it just works. However not super simple to set up as a time machine for Apple back ups. Not apples fault. WD makes it difficult.

I CB really like WD products and had an older my cloud but the new software is better. Great leaving my pics and Filene’s go directly and automatically to my cloud.

Easy setup takes a few attempts to sync up, however once everything is talking it is smooth sailing.

I happen to have the MyCloud product, and this product in the reviews section. The original MyCloud has significantly better software and quite close to a NAS. You can change the IP address of the product in the software, access the product in the browser, and even use the IP designation of the product on your network as an FTP server. You don't even need to install the software that came with that one esp if you are a power user. This is a joke. You have to plug it in and then install software called WD Discovery which is a nuisance program. You cannot access the hard drive in the browser, nor do you have a bevy of settings to tweak things. For the IP address, I had to capture the MAC address and lock it to an IP address which is more work than I expected to do having used the alternative product. Then, you can't access the drive on a network share -- the software tacks it on the computer as a drive, not a IP, so you can't use the drive an FTP. Worse yet, no DLNA. The MyCloud Home is faster for Plex and that is the only thing you can use. If you use another system that lets you access content as a network share, *forget it.* Meaning you just dropped a bit of money on something that is pretty much an external hard drive that happens to connect to ethernet. Mine will the going back to the store (sadly) the moment I am able to bring it back. I was expecting something more from a product with a similar name, not less.

I picked this up for my daughter she has so many pictures. She’s not worrying anymore that she will lose and pictures or videos now this seems to be a great product and easy to set up

upgraded after mybook live became unsupported. Great value for a network-based storage device. easy to set up. Price matched Amazon, so I am a happy camper.

I converted my DVD/Blue Rays to MP4's. I stored 600 of them on the MyCloud and access them wirelessly to play them on my TV through iTunes. Very nice. No issues at all.

My Cloud is excellent and works well with Plex to stream our home videos! I would highly recommend it.

I bought this to save money and safety .The cloud download all pictures every day from my cell phone . (Works nice)

SUch a piece of mind I am having right now. I don't need to email copies to my wife who is working in another room. nad we can work both on the same files.

I have had the older cloud NAS drive for 6 years and was getting concerned that it may give out one of these days, so I upgraded to the new larger My Cloud Home device. Very pleased with the upgraded interface. It includes a migration capability to copy files from the older version cloud device and that has worked pretty well so far. Not the quickest, but transferring lots of files and in the background, so not too concerned. There does seem to be upgraded multimedia capabilities rather than the older less popular applications the old drive featured. Really looking forward to implementing Plex.

Easy to connect. Wherever Im at home, I can share data between PCs and smart phone. I can even access data from outside home via mobile app. Highly recommended

Great for putting all files together in one place! Like that I can bring up my old digital pictures from anywhere via the WD app. Happy with purchase.

I'm still getting used to using it, but it does seem to be a good unit that will be useful for storing pics, etc and not having to rely on another service to provide it.

Connected this drive to my network. It does have very slow file transfer rates. Connects better with my MAC than PC. Mobile app works fine, but would like to see better connectivity and file transfer options.
