Easy set up and love that fact I can grab the info from anywhere but still have a piece of hardware

I have had this device for a month and it has been working as expected for three computers with access from our smartphones. The physical setup and connections are quite simple. However, there were really no simple instructions with the device for syncing the computers to the device. I had to go to You Tube to view several videos to figure out how to do it. The device could use more detailed instructions for dummies like me. Lack of instructions is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I love the product, but all the bundled software is outdated and no longer supported. I can't get it to automatically back up the computer as advertised, but it does back up our phones automatically and provides file storage that you can get to from the internet while you are out and about. This would be a 5 star rating if they supported their software.

This is not a true NAS or cloud device for a PC. You have to keep relaunching the app on the PC when you restart. It does its job for backing up mobile devices and does it much faster when you are on your wifi.

Bought October 18, 2018 and just decided to stop working February 20, 2019. It just flashes white and never connects back to the “my cloud” service. All the photos, backups and software I was storing there are gone. If you read their fine print, they are not responsible for recovering any of it. They direct you to paid third parties if you want to shell out a bazillion dollars. I am highly disappointed in this piece of trash. Save your money. I beg you!

I purchased this to replace my old MyCloud. It is very fast and whilst it took me a while to get used to the new interfase (vs MyCloud), now I am quite happy.

Love this product! Easy to install, set up and sync photos form several devices.

Great as a backup for you phone, not so much for large video files. It can take a while to browse through folders with large amount of video files on a pc due do the network only connection.

The My Cloud was easy to setup. I was able to access my folders from work. I was also able to back up ALL my devices iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and PC with no issues at all.

I'm using this to move stuff off my laptop and free up space. Also want to go from 1TB SSD to something smaller and more cost effective when I get a new MacBook Pro.

I have this connected in my network closet and it automatically backs up all my computers. It’s also nice to have partitions for each user to use as extra storage.

I have multiple computers at home and needed a way to share information and keep backups. Buy it when its on sale since it can be expensive.

Very easy to setup. Stores all your important docs, music and pictures. Use with mobile phone app or desktop app.

The device was very easy to setup and configure. Providing access to friends and family is as simple as creating a folder and sending an email.

One of my favs heard that they no longer have the cloud online though
