I thought this would be my solution to iCloud. I thought I’ll just have my own. Well, in theory, it sounds great and should be great. In reality, it’s slow in general and really slow after a certain point. The way it organizes files is not user friendly. I finally gave up. It sits unplugged under my desk. Perhaps if you don’t have much to store, it might work for you. If that’s not the case, save your money. If I could take it back, I would.

It was easy to set up. It is an okay price but is limited on what you can do. I wish it would organize photos and notify when you have duplicates.

Easy to install and setup. - The unit is very quiet and fast. So far the unit works very well in my system.

My Cloud home is a very good option to back up your files, although it has been duplicating my camera roll photos for some reason, I still like having access to all my backed up data any time, any where.

Purchased for a firm I deal with but removed it because it is really a home based unit. You Crete an account and give access to it. I was hoping it would act and a NAS device. It does not.

I emphatically, wholeheartedly, without a doubt do not recommend this product. Nor any WD My Cloud product for that matter. I bought one of these to replace a WD My Cloud that didn't survive a 10-second "brown out" during a rainstorm (it was the only device of several plugged into a surge protector that didn't survive). For some reason unbeknownst to me, I was forced to create a "My Cloud Home" account during setup because my "My Cloud" account wouldn't suffice. By the way, that's as far as I was ever able to get.... Step 1. Connect the cloud drive into the router. Step 2. Connect the drive to the power source. Step 3. Wait for the light on the front to turn solid....That never happened. Not on the 2nd one of these I bought either. Called Western Digital both times, and apparently it's a known issue. Save yourself the headache...buy a different device.

This thing is a life saver. Its hooked up to all of our phones, all pic go to our personal cloud and we just erase our phones at the end of the week with no worries.

We like it seems to work good. We don’t leave it on though it gets shut off and on when we need it.

Amazing Product with ease of use. Rather then paying to some other company for your cloud storage , this is nice to have your own storage

bought this external network drive to back up 3 computer at home set was very easy for this drive i use Acronis as my backup software Have not had any issues.

The device set up easily. I used Plex and one of my PCs for the software/media server. This has been a good addition to my network. It's fast -- I don't notice a large difference between local or network loads, and I think the small delay is the wireless, not the drive. I am not experienced in Media Servers, and I may not have the best setup. I used Plex as the software and the combination is seamless. If there is something better, I'd love to know what it is.

I used to use Apple's Time Capsules to backup multiple computers in an office, but since they have discontinued those devices this was what I have turned to and I have been very satisfied.

This NAS was easy to setup on our network. Also, I to advantage of the curbside pickup at Best Buy. Simple, friendly and quick!

I bought this to back up my new iPhone but it was hard for me to understand set up. I like the concept behind it but not sure I would use enough to keep it.

This cloud device makes it easy to upload and access household files and photos with ease. Being able to share across multiple operating systems as well.

Great product, easy to set up and use. Can’t wait to upload my files and access from anywhere

Great device for backup of photos, media, but has a clunky interface to backing up your OS, Windows 10 for me.
