Works fine. easy to set up. no issues. Nice to have. a back up and remote access.

My Cloud home is a very good option to back up your files, although it has been duplicating my camera roll photos for some reason, I still like having access to all my backed up data any time, any where.

I used to use Apple's Time Capsules to backup multiple computers in an office, but since they have discontinued those devices this was what I have turned to and I have been very satisfied.

I emphatically, wholeheartedly, without a doubt do not recommend this product. Nor any WD My Cloud product for that matter. I bought one of these to replace a WD My Cloud that didn't survive a 10-second "brown out" during a rainstorm (it was the only device of several plugged into a surge protector that didn't survive). For some reason unbeknownst to me, I was forced to create a "My Cloud Home" account during setup because my "My Cloud" account wouldn't suffice. By the way, that's as far as I was ever able to get.... Step 1. Connect the cloud drive into the router. Step 2. Connect the drive to the power source. Step 3. Wait for the light on the front to turn solid....That never happened. Not on the 2nd one of these I bought either. Called Western Digital both times, and apparently it's a known issue. Save yourself the headache...buy a different device.

This thing is a life saver. Its hooked up to all of our phones, all pic go to our personal cloud and we just erase our phones at the end of the week with no worries.

bought this external network drive to back up 3 computer at home set was very easy for this drive i use Acronis as my backup software Have not had any issues.

I bought this to back up my new iPhone but it was hard for me to understand set up. I like the concept behind it but not sure I would use enough to keep it.

Easy to set up and to secure on home network. Attached to our Wi-Fi router so that it will store for wireless devices.

This was one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. It was so simple to install and upload my files/hard drives via the internet or the USB in the back.

Great system and app. Backed up all our ipads and computers. Definitely recommend. Not even close to filling up drive for a family of four.

Disappointed with the setup of this drive. Settings options are very limited. You cannot assign an IP within the drive or change the name of the drive. Also there are top-level folders that cannot be removed and the names can't even be changed. And the only top-level folders that can be added are one for each "user" assigned to the drive. I've used WD external drives for years and they were always very customizable. I'm using it since network capable drives are just about non-existent, but I wouldn't have purchased it if I'd known how poor the setup functions are.

Needed a replacement and WD is my brand. Love these things. Reliable and easy to use.

This hard drive is much better than others I have owned in the past. I like being able to access it from anywhere.
