Great system and app. Backed up all our ipads and computers. Definitely recommend. Not even close to filling up drive for a family of four.

My entire house has been using this for backup for all of our devices. (Computers, Phones, and even Consoles) Seamlessly connects to all of your devices at home and makes backing up content seamless. You can access all you information stored on it from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet. If you have a family that wants to all use the drive then your looking in the right place, the drive will automatically split all your families data so you can only access your information. It is a great Hard drive that has been engineered for all the families out there!

The drive is great, and works perfectly for home purposes, especially with Apple's Time Machine. However, if you are looking for a Dropbox like experience, look else where. The My Cloud website and application is not the easiest to use. To this day, I cannot even share files directly with another person like you would on Dropbox, despite them having the MyCloud app installed on their phones and Macs. There is simply no way for my folder to show up within their app. Hardware side Western Digital definitely got it, but the software is unfortunate.

Easy to set up and to secure on home network. Attached to our Wi-Fi router so that it will store for wireless devices.

Has been great since we figured out how to set it up. User interface could use some enhancements but satisfied overall.

This was one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. It was so simple to install and upload my files/hard drives via the internet or the USB in the back.

Bought to replace my old WD MyBookLive. A lot cleaner interface but with a bit of a learning curve to get it to do all the stuff my previous NAS drive did, like being a DLNA server.

Like that I can access files from anywhere and upload files from anywhere. Only issue is trying to get videos to come up on TV from laptop or tablet. Seems to be spool for ever.

This hard drive is much better than others I have owned in the past. I like being able to access it from anywhere.

Works fine. easy to set up. no issues. Nice to have. a back up and remote access.

Very happy with the backup storage. Not thrilled that when I add a file with the same name as something already there it doesn't warn me, just renames it with a #. I may end up with many copies of the same thing when I really only want it there 1x.

Gift for relative that lost all thier pictures / videos because USB cable was pulled and backup drive fell on floor ... good price and connection to expand
