Easy setup but transfer from my old one took a long time. Not to bad though.

Seems great so far. Easy to use. Have transferred about 9,000 photos. App said it has uses less than 1/3 tb

Easy to set up and use. I back up my phone, desktop computer, and laptop computer all to this device. I also use it for storage of things I really don't want to lose, but don't want to have to rely on Internet access for. My only regret was not spending a bit more to get more capacity. I didn't know I'd use it so much.

If you want to have the best of both worlds cloud and physical storage this is a great device to achieve that!

Was hard to set up with wifi however once connected works great!

Used this to replace my Seagate Central. The disc works as said but intermittently I have had slow downs with transfer rate. When installed, it opens a Public network connection that is pretty much useless. Use the mapped drive it creates instead. Plex has been challenging to work with. Even with DLNA enabled it took days to sync up my media. And it always asks for premium subscription. What’s that nonsense. The drive just got updated and seems to be better since. Will see how it goes or it may end up back to the store.

With 4 people in our house on computers, this has been a great way to back things up. Easy to set up and I can even access files through my phone.

It is has good storage and I really like they app,, you can just dump all The photos from your phone to your app

It’s a good cloud hard drive could be faster. It does the job.

As I mentioned in a previous review of WD HDs, this one while it is only 4 gigs lets me backup my portable in any room in my house.

hard to connect to pc when it doesn't come w a cable. bad thing is you cant upload more than 20 files at a time to the hard drive on the app.

easy setup instructions and now i can just upload my pictures from all of my gadgets into this .

This little treasure is a great investment. Back up everything and able to share without having any hassle

Needed to replace my old 3tb plain cloud as it was full of pics and other info couldnt fit anymore files.

Love it. Can access my files on multiple devices and from anywhere.

Disappointed with the setup of this drive. Settings options are very limited. You cannot assign an IP within the drive or change the name of the drive. Also there are top-level folders that cannot be removed and the names can't even be changed. And the only top-level folders that can be added are one for each "user" assigned to the drive. I've used WD external drives for years and they were always very customizable. I'm using it since network capable drives are just about non-existent, but I wouldn't have purchased it if I'd known how poor the setup functions are.

Large drive with plenty of space for family pictures, videos, you name it. Accessible from anywhere. Great purchase decision!

Bought this to store all our files and pictures and videos. We have over 35000 pictures and over 90 gigs of videos and all of our taxes and files forn20 years. We moved them all which took a few days and still have over more than half left. The transfer rate is not that fast and if you have numerous folders in a folder transfer 1 at a time or it gets hung up. But great and everyone is able to access even while at college.

It's very easy to use. The best is that you can share a public folder over the network and have private space and access from everywhere.

Probably good product, but slow in transferring large files. Not much readily available support on setup and questions.
