The disc works as said but intermittently I have had slow downs with transfer rate. When installed, it opens a Public network connection that is pretty much useless. Use the mapped drive it creates instead. Plex has been challenging to work with. Even with DLNA enabled it took days to sync up my media. And it always asks for premium subscription. What’s that nonsense. The drive just got updated and seems to be better since. Will see how it goes or it may end up back to the store.

Run, Don't Walk, Away From This!

Even thought the device sits in your home, your authentication must travel through WD's web servers. They recently had a ransomware attack and was locked out of my data for over a week. Also, unreliable and slow when not locked out. Creates lot's of garbage, gibberish files.
