This is my second cloud for my home. It was very easy to set up.

Good cloud storage. Love that I can connect to it from any location.

Returned this hdd in a week. I was able to back up my pictures/ videos from iPhone running on 11.2 but accessing the data was a big issue. Escpecially I was unable to play any videos on MYCloud app, mycloud portal on laptop and also on PLEX. Using DLNA on xbox one and Samsung TV, I couldn’t play any videos. It’s nice know all my electronics are backed up, and it’s very easy to set up and to use.

This product is not only easy to use but also easy to access. Ease of use is on point great job WD.

Almost "plus and play". With the assistance of WD's simple set-up, it went very easy and works great.

Hi excellent product works well with google. Some problems for me the user because I’m finding my way, for example using the emails and changing accounts and utilizing the applications of the item but that is on me. Don’t what what else but cut this if you use it, somehow I got a double order, I took it as a blessing from the computer Gods and paid my bill. Gave the second to my daughter. Thanks.

This item is Great. To me, it’s better than the “WD MyCloud,” that I replaced.

I like it but it does not have the security features I expect of a NAS. Everyone has guest access instead of requiring a password for each, and it is not encrypted.

Love this. This nas drive is awesome. Just plug it into a router and boom, you can access the files from anywhere

I've used Western Digital external hard drives for years and this one has been kind of disappointing. I connected an old WD external hard drive to transfer about 2TB of Mac time machine backup files and it took 4 days to transfer. After it transferred, every time I turned on the drive it sounded like it was struggling to function, it got so loud and I couldn't access the files through the local folder on my computer, only through the online portal. For a few days that wasn't working, and Western Digital sent out a notice stating that they would no longer be providing online access for some of their cloud products. The announcement was so confusing that it took me a while to figure out that this device wasn't part of it. I'm actually still not entirely sure it isn't. I guess I'll find out in April. I ended up deleting everything off of the drive and I'm not sure I will be using it again.

Easy set up & to use. Now there’s no running out of memory or extra monthly fees.

Very convenient and easy to use. Great alternative to paid clouds and great for backups.

I talked with WD customer support on several occasions. They helped get the My Cloud Home device up and running. HOWEVER, it is far more complicated to get backups running than the My Cloud device that it replaced. I'm still working on the backup problem. The hardware itself appears to be reliable, as expected.

Replaced another cloud storage device that just died.. Easy to set up.. Barely know its there.. Just the way I like.

Highly recommend to use with storing all your photos from your phone when you run out of space.
