I bought it for the cloud feature because I’m constantly on the road for work & need access from my home files. So far am not impressed with this product as I’m now out of town & can not access any of the files I need. But I can access files I don’t.

If yours makes any noise it is the drive and not working correctly. The new is working great doing what it’s supposed to. Good product just need better quality control.

Good Backup Device

Setup was easy and I had everything I needed transferred over within an hour. My only gripe is that there is a noticeable lag when trying to use the search feature in the file explorer. Just one of the drawbacks of the cloud feature I suppose.

Hard To Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am pretty good with computers and networking, But this was a 2 day challenge to get 6 computers to be able to back up to this wireless drive. It was at least very hard to get the computers to "Find" the device, Even harder to may the drives. This would be a far better device if it came with its own software instead of 3rd party apps for installation.

The best cloud drive on the market

The hard drive works, I just wish that it didnt require WD software. Otherwise, it works fine. When you first start moving files to the Hard Drive, it will take some time. If you want a NAS and you do not have alot of computer knowledge, this drive is for you.
