I’m happy with the Passport 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable hard Drive - Black Qty: 1 and the deal I got from the company. I wanted a good My Passport 1TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black Qty: 1 that did the basics, and the site recommended one that ticked all the boxes. Speaking with the service team helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The only reason not to give 5 stars is the fact that I had to separately claim for the offered cash back deal, rather than it being automatic, and this info wasn’t stated anywhere

Just started using it and it works well. Very fast

My son needed an external hard drive for his laptop so I purchased this one because of the solid reputation of the WD brand. He has been using this without any issues. Easy setup and fast load times. I would go back to this brand if I needed another one.

Excellent so far. I have purchased 3 different storage devices and they have all gone corrupt or shows me that my content is all downloaded, then there's nothing there when i go to open them. It's a real pain! Hopefully everything ive put on here stays on here & stays uncorrupted.

Use for specialty data for single project in my 100T server. Limits access to other units. Found this brand highly reliable. I can switch off units to improve MTBF. Never had a failure with this brand. Allows mobility as well.

Bought this to back up documents prior to sending out computer for service, it has plenty of storage and very easy to use.

Combining the generally good reputation of WD brand and the value (capacity/price), this external portable HD is compact and easy to use as expected. The speed (read & write) is no way near that of the SSD but this is a good choice for a general purpose file back up and/or transfer etc. for the capacity and the price you pay.

Convenient, simple, easy to use. Reliable. Clean look.

Great option to have when your updating your laptop.

I need an extra backup which I keep plugged in most of the time. My old laptop just wouldn't turn on one day and so it was good to have an extra back up.

I needed additional space to store my photos and videos. This drive does the trick! Easy to install and it's doing the job just fine. I'd recommend it. The reason for a 4-Star review is that I thought that it's price point could have been a bit less... but then, perhaps that just me! :)

My old laptop was diagnosed with a bad hard drive but Best Buy was able to recover my files and transfer them to the My Passport 1 TB external drive. This was a tremendous relief to know that I hadn't lost all of my data.
