I purchased this Passport 1TB drive as an external drive for my new Raspberry Pi 4 system that I recently bought and it worked amazing well. Whether plugged into my laptop of the Pi, its performance was flawless and I'm very happy with it in all respects. I highly recommend it, and the price was great as well.

I was able to save my important documents from my old laptop easily.

I had one Passport Portable Hard drive (the "Ultra") and want to take it with me when I travel. So, I bought this one to back it up and leave at home just in case. I copied the older one to the new one which was easy and trouble free. All my work (years and years worth) is now safe (or, at least, safer).

This device had no trouble pairing with my devices (via a usb 3.0 cable) and the memory price value is very good. It’s small size is also perfect for taking with you for those larger files for people who have to have multiple copies of more than just pictures (in my case blueprints that require a certain format) for work etc.

This external drive has fit perfectly into my gaming experience. My previous drive constantly forced me to format. I haven't had any issues with this one.

Has been working great for over a year. As a former Seagate Technology employee, I continue to favor Western Digital drives over Seagate. Never has a WD drive failed on me. Can't say that for the other as I have had 1 SCSI drive and 2 ATA drives fail.

With today’s camera’s having such high megapixel capabilities and 4K video . You don’t want to have your computer hard filled up with the massive size files . I use this mini hard drive for storing vacation photos and video’s . It is not hard to have 80 gig of photos and videos from One vacation memories

Needed a basic external harddrive and this fit the bill. Fits conveniently in storage and is fast.

Very straightforward installation, needed an additional Time Machine drive as my previous one filled out, its my second one and works wonders
