Seeing how this is a portable hard drive that I will take with me everywhere, the thought of having someone go through my drive if it ever gets stolen, is troubling. Like my phone, if my drive were ever get stolen, I would want the person who stole it, to have trouble accessing the content. The encryption on this drive is quite nice, and I love how it lets you toggle an option to auto unlock on your computer.

We recently bought a new laptop, but it didn't have enough storage space on the hard drive and this device helped us back up our files.

Its super easy to use and works very well. I havent had any problems.

For my son, who takes a lot of pictures. He was always running out of space but this has helped a lot.

this is my fourth external hard drive, second WD, and I'm loving it! You can't go wrong with this purchase at the price and durability.

Old Passport quit working, coincidentally after upgrade to Catalina OS on laptop. Replaced it with this new Passport which works well.

I was running out of space for my Xbox and needed to buy this. It’s totally worth the price, you get endless amount of space.

Works like a champ. I have one of these for my Tablo and then installed Arlo camera and didn't want to pay for the subscription

previous hard drive for my dvr failed. this one was as easy as plug and play and has had no issues.

It's great for the price but I have had these corrupt on me. If you store stuff on here that's important definitely back it up, especially if it travels with you.

Work fine. No problems. Was able to transfer files without a problem.
